MODEL 1999 MONTANA PROFESSIONAL HUNTER ACTIONS |
The third action in our line of actions is the Professional Hunter Action. It is currently in production and we have begun to ship the Chrome Moly actions! This action will handle any cartridge from the 338 Lapua up to 505 Gibbs length cartridges. Currently we are looking at a internal magazine length of 4.043". This action will be a "true" double square bridged action. We have after much thought and consideration decided to leave the bridges without any holes drilled and tapped or any dovetails cut. We felt that their are too many options for scope mounting systems that we did not want to tie our customers down to one product. The action will have one of three bolt face sizes .534", .604", or .648". It is availabe in either 415 Stainless Steel or 4140 Chrome Moly. |

We have been working very hard to ensure a quality action by making sure that all the parts for these actions meet our specifications, even though it has essentially set us back from our original forecasts. We are sorry for the delay in getting these out to all of you who have them on order, but rest assured that it will be time well worth waiting to receive a high quality action, that you will be able to enjoy for many years to come! Currently we are in final production of the CM right hand versions and have started shipping them. Also, if anyone is interested in purchasing a PH action, now is the best time to place the order. We are currently going to be processing about 400 PH actions (200 CM and 200 SS). After these 400 are completed it may be 6 months before we are able to get anymore out the door. So unless you want to wait even longer for a Professional Hunter action, now is the best time to place an order for one. As of this time we are not doing the LH versions. While we continue to take orders for the LH we are no where near the amount of orders needed to get it started. When we originally started the PH project we set the amount needed to get each project started at 500 orders. The Right Hand PH's pre-sold were far less than the needed 500 to break even, so we cannot do the Left Hands until we get at least close to the required 500. There are no refunds on orders cancelled from the introductory offer for the PH actions. |
